Scrapbooks and Smiles began as a home-based business in my dining room in the fall of 2002. I had no idea how quickly my business would take off and soon it had taken over the living room as well. However, being the mother of 3 young children it was the perfect balance of work and family. In September 2006, with all 3 chlldren in school full-time, and the store beginning to burst out of the house, we decided to start looking for a store-front location.
We moved into our big, bright 1800 square foot location in late November of 2006. We finally had room for a permanent work space, no more setting up tables and chairs for each class or crop! We also gained lots of storage space, an office and even a small kitchen! (not to mention 3 shower stalls, as the previous tenant operated a fitness centre)
Our customers love our new space and visit us often! We hope you will too!
